Today, was a very special day on Inspirational Conversations Radio Show. It was special because I set aside time to celebrate father's Day. I do believe that with Father's Day, comes an opportunity to be exposed to millions of valuable life lessons, challenges and teachings that provide insight. I set aside time to highlight three examples pertaining to Father's Day, that have left me beyond inspired..
Example one: Pertained to how the Dad's who step up actually outweigh those who don't. And how the majority of Father's are proudly standing on the front line each and every day for their families, while being the constant protector. My mom once shared with me how my maternal Grand Father, who was a proud City Employee, so often to prolong the purchasing of new work boots, would wrap his torn work boots with duck tape because he felt that the money would be better utilized within the family home.
Example Two: Pertained to the importance of Father's never giving up on their children. I shared how a Dad shared with me his frustration with his daughter because years prior there had been words pertaining to him being absent from her life when she was a young child. As a result, he was left feeling very hopeless. I also shared how so many fathers are facing this exact crises and I advised all Father's tuning in to NEVER give up because it's never to late to transform your relationship with your child. Yes, there are some things you can give up on but never give up on cultivating a positive relationship with your child. I also stressed for Dad's to fight for renewal power in your relationship with your child and remember that through GOD all things are possible.
Example Three: Pertained to having no regrets. I expanded on this topic by sharing how for so many Father's Day opens up wounds that are so desperately trying to heal. And how many like myself had to say good-bye to our Father's much to soon. All were reminded of how life is so very short and because you are only here for a moment, you don't have a life time to re-invent your child or a life time to re-invent your Father. All you have is this moment!!!
The segment concluded with me acknowledging all of the Dad's standing on the front line 24/7 for their families. I wanted them to know that we see them, we honor them and we love them. Most importantly, it was important for all of the Dad's to understand, that even though we set aside this day to treat them like ROYALTY and to shower them with LOVE, within our hearts we know and acknowledge that Father's Day is every day.
Nothing but LOVE extended today on Inspirational Conversations Radio Show.
