Mary's Motivational Message: A CELEBRATION OF SELF (Give yourself a round of applause)

(Sunday, October 24, 2010) Today on Inspirational Conversations Radio Show, Cyrus and I discussed the importance of celebrating you, Radio guest were asked to explore when was the last time they had given themselves a round of applause and had they ever done so. All were also advised  that the power in their existence is tied into the little things achieved everyday. The achievements that go unnoticed because we are focused on the greater picture. However, each smaller experience also, adds a richness to life's journey.

In addition, a powerful story was shared pertaining to our conception (listen to the archived segment). In the end , all were reminded to not spend another moment reducing the magnitude of their visit because we  may not be were we want to be but each and everyday we all add something magnificent to this journey. I closed the segment out by stating, "For all that you have accomplished and for all that you achieve each and everyday, stand up and give yourself a round of applause." Yes, it was another marvelous day on Inspirational Conversations Radio.

(Sun. Oct. 17, 2010) Mary's Motivational Message

EXPECTATIONS (PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH)

Today on Inspirational Conversations Radio, Cyrus and I explored the nature of our expectations and how on some level we all have them. I advised against having one list of expectations for others and not applying the very same list to yourself. Also, shared were two life experiences pertaining to unrealistic expections and how in each case, a resolution was not just necessary but vital. However, in the end all were advised to live their life as an example of the standards they have set for others. It was a great day on Inspirational Conversations.
Peace and Joy,

(Sun. Oct. 10, 2010) THIS WEEK'S INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGE: "All About Dad s"

This week on Inspirational Conversations Radio, it was all about the DAD'S. Cyrus A
Webb and Mary E. Gilder honored those DAD'S who stand on the front line each and
everyday for their families. We as a society, often speak of the DAD'S who are
not taking responsibility and as a result, we forget to celebrate the ones who
are holding it down each and everyday with love. Three of our Radio guest shared
tributes to their DAD'S: Kenville Thomas from Queens New York, Tiera Gilder from
Houston, Texas and Roshaunda McCants from Ashburn, West Virginia. Our Radio
audience was encouraged to set aside time this week, to invest in quality time
with their DAD''S, while reminding them that they are not only a treasure but
that Father's Day is actually every Day.

This topic was inspiring and very much needed. Peace and Joy.

(Sun. Oct. 3, 2010) MARY'S MOTIVATIONAL MESSAGE: The Importance of an Apology

THE IMPORTANCE OF AN APOLOGY by Mary E. Gilder

I hope that you enjoyed today's show. The focus was on self-awareness as it
pertains to our actions towards others. Growth is a process and for some it can
take a life time to achieve a healthy level of self awareness. I'm thankful that
GOD is patient. For those who have wronged another and wish to atone, it's never
to late to extend an apology. I always state that it takes courage to stand on
the front line and shout or whisper, I'm not perfect, I'm flawed, I'm a work in
progress, I've made mistakes but to wear mask and do nothing, is not only a
disservice to others but also a hindrance to your own growth. Remember, It's
never to late to atone and move towards being the person you were sent here to
become.
Peace and Joy...24/7
